Hello and welcome to In The House Certifications...a place where you can GET CERTIFIED AND GET AHEAD! My name is Johnnie Delgado Jr. and I am the Owner and Instructor. I am also the blessed husband to the most beautiful and supportive woman I have ever met and father to 5 children (3 boys and 2 girls), 1 English Bulldog, 1 miniature pig and 1 red beta! What a great and eventful life to say the least right!??
I have been in the maintenance field since 1997. My first job was in my hometown of Humboldt Park in Chicago, IL. I got introduced to the owner of a pizza shop who also owned the apartment sublets above the restaurant by my Tio (Uncle) Ernie. I spent the next couple years beginning to learn the responsibilities and duties of occupied and vacant apartment maintenance. The following years after that has led me to this point of my personal and professional life where I still and forever will learn all I can about the maintenance field.
After 2 years of BATTLING the snow and public transportation (those who know..KNOW!) back and forth to work, I decided to take what I've learned and move to Florida to help my mother and baby sister. When I arrived in Florida, I immediately continued my education in the maintenance field. After meeting and being introduced to new people and working day to day at local daily-pay labor company's, I came to the realization that I needed something more structured if I were to continue my new found passion of repairing things. So I enrolled myself into a local trade school (Southern Technical College in Sanford, FL.) and earned my Associates Degree in Science in Applied Technology and majored in HVAC/R.
I was fortunate enough to build great relationships within the trade school with my peers and professors and got the opportunity to
begin which would be one of my current achievements. After several years of working in the hospitality maintenance field as a HVAC
technician, I decided to take what I have learned once again and apply them to different areas of the maintenance field over the
past 20 years. I began applying my skills to the residential maintenance field and then to the multi-family maintenance field
where I am currently still working full time as a Regional Maintenance Supervisor from a groundskeeper.
Since the beginning of my professional journey I have always been an advocate for the average man working hard tooth and
nail to get what they need to provide for themselves and their family. I am now on this new venture to continue this same
passion of assisting my fellow Americans. So please allow me the opportunity to assist you in your professional development by
